Jessica Ann Peavy - Visual Artist
As an artist and filmmaker, Jessica Ann Peavy has exhibited across the US and abroad. Her work has been featured in Artforum, Time Out New York, The New Yorker and Afterimage | The Journal of Media and Cultural Criticism. Peavy is passionate about art and believes in its power to initiate meaningful conversation, encourage action, and be a catalyst for change. For 20 years, Peavy has also worked closely with several of NYC’s cultural institutions to lead arts and education programming. She has initiated, developed, and implemented partnerships with local, national and international institutions to create career launching opportunities for fellow artists and filmmakers.
GG & POP was founded by artist Jessica Ann Peavy in 2022 after the release of an artist book for kids series she co-created in 2021 with artist Mimi Moffie. The GG & POP INSTITUTE art, design and wellness studio opened its doors in East Harlem in spring of 2023.
